EMBOUR DOES IT AGAIN

EMBOUR DOES IT AGAIN

Acclamation

The ultra-consistent EMBOUR (Acclamation) gained his sixth career success when scoring over six furlongs at Windsor.

Seven lined up for the Class 2 contest, a qualifier for the Windsor Sprint Series, with Sean Levey riding the eventual winner to track the leading trio. Ridden to gain a narrow lead over a furlong from home, he was driven out to beat the favourite Equitation by half a length.

Trained by Richard Hannon for Sullivan Bloodstock, Ruxley Holdings and Mrs Doyle, Embour holds an entry in the valuable Stewards’ Cup at Glorious Goodwood in early August. He was bought by Peter and Ross Doyle as a yearling from Pier House Stud and is a full-brother to Listed winner Cake (Acclamation), herself now the dam of two Stakes horses.
