ACCLAMATION’S PROGRESSIVE PRETREVILLE WINS GROUP 3 WITH EASE
Following on from a terrific black-type treble for Glenview Stud sires at Auteuil, ACCLAMATION made his mark at Chantilly, where the progressive PRETREVILLE (Acclamation) captured the Group 3 Prix Bertrand du Breuil Longines in fine style.
The Pascal Bary-trained bay came into the race boasting a fine record of six wins from nine starts, the most recent of which was a win at Listed level in September. Cristian Demuro rode him on return, making all of the running in the mile contest and drew clear in the final furlong to win by three and a half lengths.
Pascal Bary later mentioned the Group 2 Prix du Miguet as a potential target for PRETREVILLE, adding, “He gives everything in the mornings and on the racecourse. He is just a very good horse.”
Owned by Gerard Augustin-Normand, the son of Acclamation was bred by Serge Boucheron and sold for €100,000 as a yearling. He is a full-brother to the highly-rated Mind That Boy.
